Media dos and donts

Shoalhaven Signature will be regular tips  on dealing with media agents for print, radio, web and social media

  • Dont email media, your content as publisher files – convert them to a pdf before sending, most media will simply delete publisher files
  • Media prefer docs – text files – pdfs
  • Dont email 10mbs of images
  • Make sure information is correct, there is nothing worse for media than after they have set up for publishing in print or online, with you contacting them ohhh there is a slight change, and never contact a day later with another slight change. Mistakes do happen but please try to be organised and proof proof proof.
